About this project

Title: Sunday’s Daughters

Logline: In a rigid religious cult, two women in a secret relationship must navigate growing suspicion and control as their bond threatens the authority that governs their lives.

Length: ~30 minutes

Synopsis: Inside a secluded religious compound, a group of women live under the strict control of a charismatic leader, Father Vincent. Among the wives are Grace and Lilith, who share a secret relationship sustained through quiet moments and constant caution.

Another wife, Ivy, desperate for recognition, becomes increasingly watchful as her suspicion slowly turns into action. As Father Vincent’s control tightens and daily rituals grow more intense, subtle tensions begin to surface within the group.

When Grace is chosen for a ritualistic “cleansing,” the danger at the heart of the compound can no longer be ignored. What follows is a sudden and violent rupture that shatters the existing order, forcing each woman to confront what she truly believes, and what she’s willing to risk.

In the aftermath, Grace and Lilith take a rare chance to escape, leaving behind a system built on obedience and fear for an uncertain but self-determined future.
