The Long Way Home - A Short Doc

About this project

This short documentary follows Aiden Wadden’s journey as a trans man who moved from Cape Breton to Alberta in search of better access to healthcare. Through conversations with Aiden, medical professionals, and advocates, the film explores how Canadian policy, geography, and public perception shape the realities of trans lives.

I learned so much from Aiden, Dr. Victoria Bucholtz, RN Courtney McElrea, and Kailah Whitman. I hope you do too.
