Marked As Missing is a five-minute psychological thriller that turns a familiar school day into something quietly unnerving. August moves through routines that should feel normal, but the world responds with a strange, practiced distance. People don’t fully register her, information systems don’t cooperate, and every attempt at clarity is met with calm deflection. Designed as a daylight slow-burn, the film builds tension through restraint: pacing, atmosphere, and sound carry the unease as August’s perception, and sense of belonging begins to fracture. The story culminates in a final reveal when she finds a missing poster bearing her own image, reframing everything that came before and leaving a lingering, unsettled dread.
