About this project

Wild Rose Foundry is a fully custom e-commerce experience built entirely from scratch, with no frameworks or shortcuts, just clean, intentional, full-stack development.

From designing a relational MySQL database and ERD to implementing PHP-powered server logic and session-based cart management, every layer of the website was engineered to reflect real-world production workflows. The front end is crafted with semantic HTML, modern CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, delivering a fast, responsive, and accessible experience across devices.

The platform goes beyond a typical storefront. It features dynamic product filtering, sorting, and pagination, as well as interactive carousels and real-time UI elements, such as a seasonal countdown powered by the Temporal API, subtly reinforcing the brand’s gift-focused identity.

What sets this project apart is its balance of technical depth and user experience. It’s not just a designed interface; it’s a fully functioning system that handles users, products, and interaction seamlessly.
