Explore the lived experiences of queer players within roller derby, showcasing the sport’s unique commitment to inclusivity and community.

This documentary follows three players - a rookie, a veteran, and a referee - as they describe what Roller Derby means to them. It’s a safe haven for people who haven’t felt accepted in other sports, or in other aspects of their lives. This sport openly welcomes and celebrates everybody, no matter who they are or how they identify. It is also unique in the community it builds around itself- players often are tasked with helping run practices, set up games, fundraise for the team and self-promote.
